It’s time to celebrate 2018 with a mani that wraps up my (April) theme for the year, which is becoming my own bestie. For those of you that don’t know, I’ve launched a Depression Recovery Coaching program to help professionals reverse their depression naturally from home without pills or years of talk therapy. My mission is to have such an impact that I can get on a bus in any city and talk about Mental Illness and have more people happy to engage in conversation than the number that look away and squirm.
But, back to beauty! For this Mani I used BFF by China Glaze for my first coat (of course!) which is a slightly purplish pink Holographic- I’d give this a 4 on the old Bling scale (I like heavy coverage and this would have needed a heavy two or thin 3 coats of used alone.
Next, I followed with OPI “Starry-Eyed for Dear Daniel” which is also symbolic for me as my Dads name was Daniel (passed away 5 years ago) and it’s my sons Middle name. This thick pink sparkle also has a hint of silver and is my favorite type of polish. Giving it 4.5 Bling’s (only to reserve 5 for a true knockout).
Lastly I used “Ivy League” from the Hard as Nails line from Sally Hansen. I love this color but only giving 3 Bling’s because it’s thin and takes FOREVER to dry (highly recommend fast dry top coat such as Seche Vite or Posh).
And to cap of this review I’ll give you a small taste of the incredible dress I’m wearing, which is a Marchesa Notte I’m renting from Rent the Runway (another post on this to come- love it BTW).
Sending you Peace and Love!
